Today, more than ever before, there is no one funeral that fits all. Each funeral should represent that unique person. We can offer any type of funeral service and because of this there are many different cost options. Below are some examples of funerals we offer.

Funeral costs are made up of two charges. Our fees, and those fees payable on your behalf also known as ‘disbursements’.

Our fees are payable following the funeral except where stated. They include all administration, looking after the person who has died until the time of the funeral, chapel visits, liaising with relevant parties on your behalf, arranging orders of service, music and anything else you feel you need, as well as providing a funeral director and bearers on the day of the funeral.

As an independent family company, the person arranging the funeral with you will also be your funeral director on the day, wherever possible.

Disbursements are payable on account after the funeral except where stated. Amongst other items these will include the cremation fee, doctor’s cremation certificates, council burial fees, minister / celebrant fee, newspaper announcements, organists, possibly flowers and sometimes even caterers.

Before a funeral takes place a full itemised estimate will be provided to cover all our services and the disbursements that are required to be paid on your behalf. Any additions to this we will discuss with you, prior to receiving our final invoice, after the funeral has taken place. In addition to our standard prices, we have introduced some fixed price offerings that allow families the opportunity to say farewell to their loved ones in a dignified way while keeping costs to a minimum.
